Hello everybody,
for comparison I want to chosse a Reynolds Stress Model with Stress BSL option. But unfortunately I canīt find any Information about its advantages/disadvantages wall Treatment and the theory behind it. Can anyone tell me where I should look? Thank you in advance and best regards |

Hi,
Although I can't provide any valuable written resources yet, I found it a bit intriguing. I do use it for developing fully turbulent pipe inlet profile to be implemented as an input to some other LES/DNS computations. What I found is that it underestimates turbulence intensities quite significantly especially in a flow-normal direction. I wonder if there are other forum-members who could share their opinion or add some valuable references to the topic. Regards Piotrek |
