I am doing the CFD simulation of 6 feet fan (180 rpm) using Fluent, I modelled the geometry of fan with domain and a cubic room and made Boolean(subtract the wall(target) from rotating domain(tool body) and fan(tool body) from the rotating domain(target)) functions in Ansys and meshed the geometry. MRF approach and It has 2 domains, one is the rotating domain zone and another is the wall (enclosure)
when I ran simulations in fluent, I couldn’t see the streamlines/contours in the wall domain(checked from all domains as well), I can see only in the rotating domain. I checked the connections (target and source) and mesh interfaces and no issues found. can you help me to figure out the issue. Moreover I also monitor the torque at fan surface and volumetric flow rate at rotating domain where my values get fluctuating from -0.3 to 0.5. Let me know if you need any result data/residuals to infer |
