Ansys Workbench: "Failed in handling Fluent Message"

Hi,
I have been using Ansys Workbench to run different design points of the same simulation. The process gets stuck on the second design point it needs to simulate. In the first point (or if we run just for one case independently), simulation runs smoothly (with a green check on the simulation box). And then, whilst trying to update the solution, it either gives me: - The Error message “Failed in handling fluent message” - Or it gets stuck on the “Updating Solution" step. The output table for that point is filled, and if I open fluent I'm able to see the simulation results (which look alright). Have you ever come across a similar problem? Do you have any suggestion to diagnose the problem or fix it? Thank you very much for the help. Regards, Mariana |

Hey Mariana
I have the same problem. I think it is something to do with writing the files in the specific folder. In my case, after the fluent solving the problem, the workbench does't even show that the solution is updated. So I close the fluent, in the workbench interface, I click on 'update' then it solves again, then everything is fine (solved and solution is ready for the post-processing). This is not really a solution, but just stating that there is little bug in the program I think. Daniel |
