Hello, I am simulating heat transfer within porous medium using non-equilibrium thermal model provided by Fluent. Fluent will automatically create corresponding solid zone as well as a series of boundary conditions when selecting the non-equilibrium thermal model.
However, an error occurred saying that the pair of fluid and solid in the porous medium has some non-overlapping cells, although I did nothing to change the automatically-created boundary conditions. I guess I should use hexa mesh instead mixed mesh for porous medium in order for the accurate automatic creation of the solid zone by Fluent? |

I encountered similar problem until i renamed from SOLID to FLUID. Try renaming it. Cheers |
