Hi everyone,
I am trying to model boundary layer suction to see the variation on drag coefficient (cd) of NACA 0012. 1.PROBLEM DEFINITION Test case was taken from Drag Prediction Workshop 6. Test conditions were M = 0.15, Re = 6e6 and AoA = 10 deg 2.FLUENT SETTINGS Structured meshing using ICEM CFD. Pressure based pseudo transient, Energy(On), SA turbulence model, Air (Ideal gas, Sutherland's model), Coupled solver Boundary conditions (attached) are 1)Far field pressure boundary (Outer boundary) 2)No slip wall (Airfoil walls) 3)No slip/pressure outlet (Boundary without/with suction) THE ISSUE I am getting a value close to the value in literature without suction but with suction, it gives floating point exception. I have gone through previous posts but no details were available (How to model suction flow in an airfoil in Fluent and BoundaryLayer with blowing .) Please post your comments. Thanks in advance.
