Hello everyone,

I am working on modelling mixed convection inside a square cavity. The cavity sides are all stationary except its top surface.

The top surface is an elliptical belt that moves with a constant linear velocity. The problem is that the x and y velocity components of this moving belt are varying with position.

I have the equations of these components as a function of x and y. But these equations contain "tan^-1 (y/x)" and I don't know how to enter it into fluent.

Please help me.
