Hello.
I'm trying to simulate transient thermal stress in a 'bolt-alike' geometry. I would like to put some fluid between bolt and heated part of geometry. Transient thermal simulation works great but for transient structural analysis ANSYS is asking me for elasticity of air/engine oil. I don't know how to set it. I think there is a way to exclude fluids from structural simulation but I don't know how to do it without changing global geometry for thermal analysis. ( I mean when I suppress part of fluid geometry my thermal solution disappear.) What could I do to run structural analysis on thermal analysis results? Have a nice day. Sheaker |
