I model a blower, a fan in a casing for a transient simulation. For this I create a blade zone: I make a boolean air - blades and then do SMM (sliding mesh method) on this impeller zone. The simulation fails with "Update-Dynamic-Mesh failed. Negative cell volume detected.” I would suspect the booleans declared in the Geometry but they look well defined. I tried to simplify my model (no holes no screws). I also tried to adapt my mesh by dividing it with Multizone with hexa dominant. But it's not sufficient to reduce the skewness.
Do you have any suggestions? Thank you in advance. |
