Hello
I am looking through the theory guide and I do not believe that makes complete sense. For the Droplet Laws: if Tp<Tvap : heating law is employed if Tboiling>Tp>Tvap & Mp > (1-vf)Mpo vaporization law is employed if Tboiling<Tp & Mp > (1-vf)Mpo boiling law is employed if Mp < (1-vf)Mpo heating law is employed I have one main concern with this if the heating laws are only employed if the temperature is below the vaporization temp or the entire mass volatile components is vaporized how can the temperature of the droplet ever reach the boiling point for boiling to occur. as soon as the temperature reaches the vaporization temperature heating stops and vaporization would consume the entire droplet. can someone help clarify this? |
