I'm working on Copper electro-refining.

The composition of the Anode, lets say 98%, rest are Zn, Silver, Gold, Al etc. How do I define/ create new solid material like this?

I think I have to create User Defined database, but how to write it..properties can be found from literature but how will I specify the composition of different materials.

The composition is just a name. You can call it 98% cu, cow-milk, spoiled eggs, magic dust powder, anything.

What's important is what properties you are modeling and how this matters in your simulation.

And most importantly, what software are you using!?

I'm using Ansys Fluent.

In add solid material I'm adding Cu from fluent database and specifying that Anode is Cu material i.e made of pure copper but I want a solid material which is made of 98% Copper and rest are other foreign metal.
