Hello,
I created an animation for a simulation so I could show how the temperature contour changes with time. I wanted to change what times the animation was recording for so I tried to delete the original animation. However, when I try that, I keep getting the error "Sequence can not be deleted. Animation object exists in the current session." I was hoping someone could tell me how to delete the old animation so it isn't recording during the simulation. Thank you. |

I have a similar issue with Ansys Fluent 2021 version. When trying to save my animation in .mp4 format I found the "Write/Record Format" drop-down menu was greyed out. I tried deleting the animation file to reload it from the folder, but I received the same error message as highlighted by Jacob_Bing.

I would try deleting it under calculation activities>animations. Not sure why you have that problem. Maybe the error is there because you have animation window open? |
