Hi everybody,

First of all, I'm new here and quite new to Ansys Fluent, so I don't know whether my question is a good one or I'm just an idiot but here goes. I did search for a solution both on the forum and on google but couldn't really find anything like it.

I'm working on a cross section of a piece of soil through which a closed loop ground source heat pump is pumping liquid. I want to model wat happens to the temperature of the soil when heat is extracted from it and whether there's some thermal interference between heat pumps. I simplified the problem by taking a 2D cross section of the soil and using fixed temperature boundary conditions on the pipes, so no actual liquid flow needs to be modelled.

I made a simple geometry for this and meshed it accordingly, so far so good. But now when i try to open the fluent solution application, my geometry is not visible there. i just get an empty screen even though ansys doesn't give me an error of any sort. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and without an error I'm absolutely clueless as to what is going wrong.

Any help, tips or tricks that might solve this problem will be greatly appreciated. If you would like me to upload some pictures or something please ask, but for now I didn't really know what could be useful to upload so I didn't include anything yet.

Thanks in advance!

gehannes, I had the same problem as you. In one video, it is said that if you define Inlet/Outlet/etc. you need to update your mesh. It is the way to see model in Fluent Mode. I hope it will work.
