Hello, i am currently studying on a 2d square cylinder in fluent. I am very new to fluent but i was able to generate appropriate geometry and mesh for my case with the help of literature search.

I need to use FW method to obtain sound pressure levels, psd plots and vertices. I dont know where to start or how to construct my case properly.

After generating mesh, to obtain more accurate data, i ran the simulation in steady, then transient. Everything seems normal but i dont know how to jump into aeroacoustic analysis after these steps. I put a point in the geometry where i want to obtain sound pressure levels but i couldnt manage to use aeroacoustics branch in fluent. Please help me.

Thank you all.

See this presentation. This is exactly what you are looking for. I used the same to perform a 2D CAA. The biggest problem is to estimate the Source Correlation Length, which I am yet to figure out what it exactly means. It's an input for FW-H model. I think you have to estimate it based on some experimental data. In the tutorial this length has been mentioned.
