calculating mass flow rate

hi,
im doing a transient cfd analysis of flow through pipe system which has 2 inlet and 2 outlet. i want to calculate the total mass flow rate from starting till end but i couldnt find how to do it. Can anyone help me? |

you can make a surface monitor for mass flow rate through a surface (inlet or outlet) under report definitions. This gives you the flowrate at every timestep - integrate the whole thing in time to get the total. I assume you use pressure inlets or so? For a velocity inlet, you can just get it from velocity * area * time.
