Pavel Mihailovski is on a distinguished road
Does anyone have any idea how one should model this interface?

I have a drying simulation, where an upcoming air (top to bottom) passes through a porous organic soil, drying it over time.

Should I model the interface between the air and the porous zone as a thermal wall boundary condition or the interface (contact) between the two separate zones will by itself allow the heat (from the drying air) to propagate through the porous soil zone? If I should go with thermal boundary, can anyone tell me something about this procedure?

Thanks in advance,
Pavel
