I want to accomplish vortex/flow induced vibrations in heat exchanger tube bundle. I'm very new to CFD.
1. Let's say I chose fluent and transient structural FSI then what type support and boundary conditions should be used for transient structural so that tubes will have the room to vibrate. 2. what are other techniques to run this simulation. 3. Can I achieve this FSI with a 2d simulation? any help in this regard will be much appreciated. Thanks. |
