stuck in FLUENT porous media option -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

annu Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Posts: 47 Rep Power: 13	Hello everyone, i am working on fixed bed reactor 2D, i am using boundary condition for inlet as velocity inlet and for outlet pressure outlet. i am not using multi-phase. in the cell zone condition, i am using porous media condition where i am using porosity of 0.4. so case is simple only air is flowing. but when i see in volume integrals mass, mass is continuously decreasing, what is the reason behind it? i don't understand. please help me..please..
