I am trying to simulate a flow inside a bottle with sand inside it , the porosity has been defined in the cell zone condition and gas gauge pressure 16 bar at the inlet is air , density based solver is used with laminar model and energy equations on.
(Transient analysis)
The problem is whenever I calculate the result , it takes 12000 iteration to solve for a single time step , and at the second iteration itself the temprature rise upto 5000 kelvin. Am i doing something wrong. Timestep size is 0.01 sec
Thank you

16 bar at the inlet of the bottle... What is the value of flow velocity? What do you expect?

Best regards

It is a supersonic velocity of 2000 m/s , I am just learning the software by analysing random situations.
