Hi there,
I'm starting to run a reactor network simulation in fluent and have some questions. First, I'm finding the available documentation, at least the one I could find, a bit lacking, can anyone point me in the right direction to a more detailed one? (Detailed theory part would be useful but I also need practical details like what does the error messages flag when it crashes mean) Second, and this is my main question, my simulation consist so far of a simple RANS solution with a simplified reaction scheme (6 species and 5 reactions) to get a flow field followed by a reactor network simulation with a detailed scheme (60 species and 373 reactions), the detailed one is imported from a chemkin file. My question is, how to make sure that fluent makes the correct species connections between schemes? Meaning that the concentration for hydrogen is the simplified scheme is used as the concentration for hydrogen in the detailed one (using hydrogen as an example). Third and last, for post processing in an UDF, how do I get the reactor network concentrations? (F_YI and C_YI macros return the simplified scheme concentrations) Also, is there a way of getting the reaction rates from the reactor network? Apparently the only output are the concentrations. Thanks in advance! |
