Hi
I wanted to know if anyone had any tutorials (or if someone could explain) of how to import a reaction reduction from CHEMKIN into fluent. I am new to Chemkin, So I believe I have created a reaction reduction mechanism correctly using there tutorial guides. However, there is no information on either fluent or chemkin as to how to get the file into the correct format or which file needs to be imported (as chemkin dumps 100's of files into the working directory all with very similar names and types just differing by iterations of runs). I would really appreciate the help Thankyou in advance |

Hi. I hope you found an answer to you query.
If not, try this: File-->Import-->Chemkin mechanism, there you can load your Chemkin files (reaction mechanism file and thermodynamic properties). They usually are in DAT format. Next you can use it in your combustion analysis. Hope this helps. |

hi,
have you figured out how to import chemkin format into fluent. I've been doing methane combustion simulation with fluent . The gas phase and surface mechanism are imported into Fluent. however I got a error 'received a fatal signal (segmentation fault)' have you ever met this error? |
