I am trying to model a blast wave in 2D domain in ANSYS Fluent.
I have created the geometry as a quarter of a circle of 100m radius, with a 1.74m radius circle removed at the centre as this is where the source blast wave is input. I am measuring pressure at 2.05m from centre of blast, as I have experimental data at this point that I am attempting to replicate. So far, after reducing tilmestep size and making the mesh very small I have been able to achieve 180kPa peak overpressure at 2.05m, and the experimental result is about 225kPa. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to improve accuracy of my result and get it closer to the actual overpressure? Thanks in advance for your help |
