Hello, I have performed a full cfd simulation and I want to transfer the contours to Tecplot and draw them. I use the File -> Export -> Case and Data option to obtain a full model of my simulation so I can extract the necessary data, but when I want to use it in Tecplot only the X Y Z position data is available for drawing the contours and not the temperature data that I need.

I'll gladly be happy if this question is answered ASAP.

you need to go in file>export>solution data and choose ASCII files and next Temperature. The Fluent will save one file with rows x, y, z and Temperature or any another property, the coordinates x, y and can to be the center of cells or the position of the nodes.

You need to select the variables you want to write when you do the solution export.

By the way, Tecplot can also directly read the .cas and .dat file.

Yes that's the method I came to use, but I actually wanted to use the .cas and .dat files to export to tecplot... Thanks anyway, sir.

Yes, but reading the .cas and .dat files resulted in the solution data not being read by Tecplot. So I finally used the Export Solution data method to get the temperature data into tecplot. But I would still appreciate a method on how to make the .cas and .dat files include the solution data.

The .dat file already contains all the solution variables. Temperature is definitely there. You probably made a mistake in tecplot or something.
