wxn is on a distinguished road
I would like to simulate a porous sphere in fluent.

I am having a hard time trying to figure out what Direction-1 and Direction-2 mean exactly.

If the porous sphere is isotropic, how should I set the direction vector when the porous zone is a sphere? And how about a quarter of sphere?

Can I use the arrow tool or specify the coordinates to specify the vector direction or use udf?

And does the fluid velocity direction affect the direction vector of the porous zone?

Thank you
