Hello All,
I want to simulate a water phase displacing oil in a porous media containing oil and water. 1. for an oil and water flow in a porous in porous media, which model is best in fluent; Multiphase mixture model or species transport? 2.* for the porous media simulation, if I want to set the porous media to have fluids originally inside before pumping from the inlet; say maybe 20% water and 80% oil before pumping water, how do I set the original fluid saturations in the porous media? I tried using patch after initializing but wondering if it's correct. 3. how can the flow be coupled with heat transfer for the inlet fluid and porous media to have different set temperature values. Please, I anticipate your gracious contributions and suggestions. Thanks in anticipation. Regards, Sent from my LG-D851 using CFD Online Forum mobile app |
