Hi There

I have a viscous film (thick liquid solution) drying on a moving plate. The solution (thin film) is being dried by an air flow with water vapor above it. water evaporates from the solution (film) to the air. This is a multispecies simulation (liquid film has different compounds with water) in which the film thickness changes as it moves. I am thinking about a model in Fluent that captures the phase change and show the thickness change along the moving plate. I know Eulerian model has evaporation feature but VOF can track the interface between the film and the humid air. I am wondering which model is more suitable for multi-species in a multiphase flow with phase change (different compound in the film and the air). Any suggestion or documents would be great. Thank you

If you want to track thickness of film, you can use Eulerian mosel considering colour of density contour. I suggest to use Eulerian model because this model provides a complete solution for both multiphase and evaporation model
