flusk123 is on a distinguished road
I am trying to model the effect of a heated aluminum chip on surrounding air.

In FLUENT, we require a constant energy source term to account for this heat dissipation.

Can anyone help me with the equation to calcualte in energy in W/m3 if temperature of chip, volume of chip, ambient air temperature and conductivity of chip material is known

Thanks in advance
