Good evening everyone,
I'm facing a difficulty in a case of a 2D squeeze Flow. More specific, i study the flow between just 2 straight plates, one stationary and the other moving towards the other. I have Pressure outlet boundary conditions at left and right boundaries. Ansys Fluent is able to calculate the solution when i set as boundary conditions the velocity fields at the top ( negative u_y, zero u_x) and bottom (zero u_x,u_y) boundaries. But when i try to simulate the top and bottom boundaries by walls, one moving and one stationary, solution cannot be obtained. There is reverse flow at boundaries and zero mass flow rate. Has anyone any idea what i'm doing wrong in the case of the walls? Thank you very much in advance. |
