Dear all,
I am currently trying to simulate a transient case for a high speed train inside a tunnel portal. I tried doing it by sliding mesh technique. The Interface that i selected was the upper surface of a moving region which completely encloses the train wall inside it and this moving region slides throughout the tunnel portal. Now, when I give a mesh motion with a small velocity, the moving region does move , but the tunnel fluid doesn't seem to interact with the moving region fluid and train wall. Is this problem related to the interface type selection or is it just that my computational domain itself is wrong and I should be thinking of another way to simulate this. Please comment and provide your valuable suggestions. Shall be greatly obliged. Thanks in advance, rohit |
