Hi,

I am doing lagrangian particle tracking on mixing times in a laminar stirred tank. I am now using the sliding mesh model, which computes the flow every time step, which is accurate but time-consuming. The flow is periodically steady, i.e. for each impeller position the flow field is the same as it was one impeller revolution ago.

I was wondering if there was a way to 'save' the flow fields corresponding to each time step in one impeller revolution and just put this one impeller revolution on repeat when computing the particle trajectories for my lagrangian particle tracking. This would save an enormous amount of time, but I haven't been able to find such an option yet. I hope somebody has a tip.

Thanks!
