Hi
I would like to know how to feed line source emission in the fluent model. I have an area of grid 1 x 1 km2 where traffic is my emission source and type is line source. So kindly help me to feed my emission inventory concentration for line source.

Hi Ezhilkumar, I have your same problem as I would like to define a road with a pollutant emission. Did you fix solve your issue?

Just to understand if we have the same problem.. Are you using a multiphase model? My goal is to impose a source emission in g/m^2/s or any areal unit of measurements.

Yes, I use Eulerian multi-phase model. Here I provide the same unit for pollutant emission from the source. But how do I feed them in Fluent. Because we provide the material property in terms of density. But my background data is in terms of concentration. Only possible way is to convert concentration to molar mass and then to density.

So If you are familiar in feeding the concentration data, kindly help me in this regard.

I am not, but if I find a solution, I will tell you

Hi, Ezhilkumar. I found how to insert the inlet pollutant in kg/s (other units of measurement can be added). Does it interest you?

Yes I am. But how to feed them in Fluent. One more thing is, I don't have vehicle count data in-spite I have a background concentration data measured at that particular location. So, how do I convert that concentration to density and feed them in fluent.

Hello

I am stuck with the same problem, and can't seem to do it. If anyone solved it, please share. Also, why would someone use Multiphase simulation for this case? Aren't both the medium and pollutant gaseous phase already.

Regards
