Hello!

I have a model of which i want to calculate the pressure difference between inlet and outlet for different geometry parameters. I use workbench to add all the different geometries in design points. I wonder if i can, for every design point, make Fluent write an XY-plot with pressure difference along a line between inlet and outlet. I can easily do this manually in Fluent, but is it possible to do it automatically for every design point?

Also is there a way to calculate the average pressure for all cross sections along a line instead of just for each point along a line?

I found out that you can use macros to do this. The problem is that the macro is deleted every time workbench changes to a new design point. Is there a way to solve this?

An easy way to do it: you can run all your design points and save the data files of fluent. Then write a script for workbench that change the "current design point" and open CFD-post and then write that xy data you need.

about that problem you said : "The problem is that the macro is deleted every time workbench changes to a new design point" also you can write a really simple script -by means of record journal script that is available in Workbench>>file>>scripting- that in each design point load and interpret a macro at beginning of solution.
