Hello everybody!
I'm having a problem with writing monitoring data to a large number of files, almost the same as in this post. Fluent stops and throws an error after trying to write 506th monitor file. And I have about 2500 monitors total. Firstly, I thought that there is a finite number of files one process can open. I read this article about windows limitations on max. number of handles one process can create. And according to it, one windows process can create about 16 mln handles to files. I've used software presented there and can confirm that my version of windows (10, 64 bit btw) supports far more files simultaneously opened by a single process, than Fluent limitation i've faced. So it made me think that either there is an option in settings (i've tried to find it, but couldn't succeed) to raise this limit, or it is a bug. Have anybody encountered similar problem? Any help will be appreciated |
