Hello everyone,
I want to simulate free surface, open channel flow. In my case, i have both free surface flow and dispersed bubbly flow. In the top portion of the channel there is a continuous air flow and at the bottom portion of the channel there is continuous water and dispersed air flow. Since there is a dispersed flow in the flow field, i need to use the Mixture model or the Eulerian model instead of VOF model. As i know, the open channel flow sub-modeling is designed for VOF to solve free surface flows including continuous air and continuous water flow. The inlet and outlet boundaries designed for open channel flows comes up with this sub-modeling. However, when i switch from VOF to Mixture model, the open channel flow sub-modeling disappears. Could you please suggest me if there is a way to enable the open channel flow sub-modeling in The mixture model by TUI or ...? Any help is really appreciated, thanks... |
