Hi,
I'm new in using this software. I am simulating a vertical wind turbine, and i came across this video, link is below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NfvIHv78DQ&t=0s I am having trouble doing the exact same meshing. I don't understand how did the person create three different meshes in one planar. Any help will be very much appreciated. |

You need to split your current domain in multiple volumes and to mesh these one by one. So open DesignModeler or Gambit or whatever you use for geometry creation, and split the domain as you wish. Then mesh the volumes in Meshing/ICEM/whatever you use. The domain splitting leads to creation of new boundaries (subvolumes boundaries). You can set constraints to every of these boundaries which gives you a better control over the meshing process. Just see the ANSYS tutorials, there are enough examples on this topic.
