i have been doing dynamic mesh simulation for in cylinder flow using ansys fluent , however during the set up ,i couldn't' set up the time step size . it seems it is automatically set up by the ANSYS and i couldn't change the number . any body help set up the time step size please?

you can see it clear in the picture down.

thank you

why you need dynamic mesh for flow over cylinder ?

actually i am doing cold flow simulation for direct injection engine. however i have encounter many problems in creating the flow domain for my geometry. and currently i am suing ICE Engine for simulation and i got problems in my geometry such as creating the flow domain as well as selecting the valve seat face as u can see.

could u please help me in that?

i didn't do something like that but you can do it with fluent instead of ICE engine.

and about fixed step time, did you simulation unsteady problem ?
i suggest do once according to tutorial for reducing probable problems.
