Hello everyone,
I am new to fluent and having some trouble while importing .cas file from hypermesh. The boundary zones (i.e, walls, inlet, outlet) are not defined/interpreted by either of two software. Due to this I am getting some weird result. It seems like the computation is done for only the mesh layer which is adjacent to the inlet boundary. Results for both 2D and 3D simulations are similar. I am attaching images of a simple 2D case which shows that pathlines are not covering the complete flow volume. I have cross checked the position of inlet and the direction of flow, both seems to be fine but the problem is still there. Someone working with fluent and hypermesh please help! |
