Dear all,
I am trying to compile a UDF function but I have experienced some problems which are driving me nuts. I wrote a UDf for CG_MOTION and I have compiled it without any problems few times. Suddenly, it stopped working and it gives me an error of this form: "Error: The UDF library you are trying to load (libudf3) is not compiled for 2ddp on the current platform (win64). The system cannot find the file specified." I already had a look in this topic and I read that it is something related to the compiler. As I am not the administrator of the computer I am using, I have some problems in uninstalling and installing some softwares. In addition, I am not really good at computers so I don't really know the difference between 64 bit, win 7 etc... and I would not know where to look for it. All I know is that the code was written using Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and that the version of Fluent I am working with is 15.0.7. Is there anybody who could patiently explain how I can possibly solve this problem? In addition, I have another question regarding the compiling of the UDF. If I have to change the code, do I have to compile the function in another library? At first, I tried to use the same one but it gave me an error. I found out that changing the name of the libudf allowed me to save it and use it. In the end it was really cumbersome as I ended up with 14 folders with functions slightly different. Thank you again! Last edited by Faggio11; August 12, 2016 at 10:08. Reason: SOLUTION FOUND: The problem was that I copied the file and named with a hyphen and a space so it was not recognised anymore! |
