Hi,
I'm designing a low-drag vehicle and I'm trying to eliminate all separation. When i plot the skin friction coefficient, my lowest value is 0.004. My question now is: At what value can you assume you actually have separation? Does the skin friction coefficient value have to be exactly zero, or is there a threshold value? Thanks in advance |

usually it goes to zero and may be a little bit to the negative side (flow reversal).
You can also try plotting stream wise pressure gradient to ensure thats separation |
