Hello everyone,
I would like to get RMS of fluctuation velocities but I do not find a way to get them. Because when I activate the data sampling and go to 'Unsteady statistics', I can get the RMSE but not the RMS. Could you tell me how to get the RMS ? Thank you Gemaak |

You don't find them in that option box. They are new field variables that you can access and do whatever with just like pressure, temperature, etc.

Thank you.
The problem is that I really need the RMS fluctuation velocities in order to calculate the Pope criterion of my LES. Is there a way (by custom field function or sth else) to calculate the RMS of the fluctuation velocities. Or better, is there a way to calculate directly the Pope criterion from Fluent ? Thanks in advance, Gemaak |
