Dear Fluent/CFD-Post experts,
I am a beginner in the CFD world, so please excuse for the following basic questions: I have a transient Fluent simulation with 1020 results. In CFD-Post, several charts (4, 6-7 curves on each) have been created in order to plot evolution of pressure or velocity over time. Generating those charts takes a lot of time (more than half a day!! with no other streamlines or vector plots on the CFD-Post). Is it normal? How to speed this? Moreover, when CFD-Post is closed and reopen, charts have disappeared... I tried the Export option but it exports the curves in a csv file one after another (i.e: if you have 2 curves p=f(time) with 4 time points you end up with a csv file with headers for first curve, 4 lines for first curve and then headers for second curve and 4 lines for the second curve). Is there a way CFD-Ppost exports results over several columns or someone could share a Excel or Matlab macro to do this? Thank you very much in advance for your suggestions. Regards, Carles |
