Hello everybody,
i´m trying to model a reactive CVI/CVD flow. First i wanted to get the temperatur and velocity distributions inside the reactor. I have an Inlet for the carrier gas and an Inlet for my reaction gas. I want to mix them in the reaction chamber just like it is in the experimental construction. The inlet is velocity inlet. i wanted to do a pressure outlet because in the experimental construction there is a pump and a valve at the outlet of the chamber. They measure the pressure in the reaction chamber and control/regulate the valve (by open and close it) to keep the pressure constant. How can i keep the pressure constant in my simulation. What outlet condition can i use for this. Is it even possible? Do i need a UDF? I´m also slightly confused about operating pressure and gauge pressure. Is the pressure they measure in the experiments my operating pressure? I´m looking forward for your input! Thank you! |
