I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem related to reaction module in FLUENT v.14.5.
Details are given below:
The reversible reaction between oil and methanol gives Biodiesel and glycerine as products.The reaction involves 3 reversible intermediate reactions and 2 intermediates. I have all the kinetic data.
The reactants are first immiscible, through the process, they become miscible and again at the end, the products become immiscible. So which multiphase model to choose?
How to define phases (primary and secondary), as it is reaction mixture.
Though I tried a lot, values of the biodiesel (desired product) while simulation, is going down (to even 10^-22).
