Hello,
I do need some advice from you guys regarding two-way FSI simulation using Fluent/Mechanical. I'm modeling blast wave propagation subjected to V plate to see the plate deform and having an error during the simulation, Negative-Cell Volume (see Figure Error.jpg). For the Dynamic Mesh settings, Remeshing and Smoothing (see Figure DynamicMesh.jpg) been chose and Mesh Method Parameters are followed the Mesh Scale Info (see Figure MeshMethodSetting.jpg). I set the End Time at System Coupling, 0.008 s and the Step Size, 1e-4. The simulation run with no error. Until it reach 0.007 s, it stopped automatically due to the Negative-cell-volume error (see Figure Error.jpg). Why this happen? Does anyone know about this? please help me. The plate are deforming, but the simulation is error (see Figure ErrorResult.jpg and ErrorResult2.jpg). Thank you guys, Regards, Arif S. |
