Hello everyone,
I'm using the critical heat flux model in Fluent to simulate flow boiling. The simulation domain is a cylindrical tube with diameter of 2.5 mm and length of 200 mm. The first 100 mm from the inlet is adiabatic wall and the remaning of the tube is heated with a constant heat flux. The boundary type for inlet and outlet are mass flow inlet and pressure outlet, respectively. I would like to check energy balance for my simulaiton. My question is - Does the "Total Heat Transfer Rate" in the Flux Reports include the power consumed by evaporation? Or should I calculate this power additionally by multiplying the vapor mass flow rate at outlet by latent heat? |

Hi friends,
If any one have idea to check energy balance for Eulerian flow boiling simulation in Fluent, please write here. Thanks in advance |
