Hello there,
I am new to the spray modeling. I have a well defined problem where, There are two inlets and one outlet. The problem is unsteady. Total simulation I want to observe is 50ms. One inlet is the air inlet at 100 Pa gauge pressure and the another is the fuel injector. Spray has to be injected after 5ms of the air intake. I want to inject diesel liquid as a spray in to the air. The Temperature of air is 350K and the temperature of diesel is 300K. I have to use DPM model for the injection. There will be evaporation of the diesel droplets. I am confused with the species model. What is the best suited model for my problem ? I am thinking for non-premixed combustion model. Can I use any other model like species transport model ? What is the best suited for my case ? I am just interested in the visualization of the development of the spray, penetration length and the mixture friction at the outlet per time step. Thanks a lot for any suggestions. Presteina |
