i am validating a paper related to natural convection in isosceles triangular space, heated from base and cooled from top. does any one tell me the what are the temperatures that i can use for these condition and also about the length that can be filled in reference value .

When you say "validating a paper/experiment" you should have the temperature conditions and the geometry! how can sbd validate a data with some random BCs got from the Forum!

actually u got it wrong ... i am taking the reference from a published paper and i took 300k an 350k, but not getting the same result as the reference paper for value of nusselt no.

Don't forget to also specify the reference temperature (and the length).

You should use the reference temperature and length of the paper that you are validating against. If it's not in the paper, then I suggest writing to the paper authors... You never mention Nusselt number without explicitly defining the reference length; you also need to define the reference temperature for heat transfer coefficient so that also should be stated. Unfortunately, many people take this for granted so I wouldn't be surprised if these essential details are left out and wasn't caught by the reviewers.
