Dear all,
I’m carrying out a conjugate heat transfer coefficient, where I have a meshed solid and a meshed fluid in contact. I want to set a heat transfer coefficient of 5000 W/m^2/K and a fixed wall temperature. However, in the convective heat transfer options, eventhough I can choose the heat transfer coefficient, I cannot set the wall temperature, but the free stream temperature. How could I set a fixed wall temperature and a heat transfer coefficient? Thanks a lot. |

For a fixed temperature BC,
(7.3-47) where =fluid-side local heat transfer coefficient=wall surface temperature=local fluid temperature=radiative heat flux But I want to set myself the hf value! Instead, ANSYS help says: "Note that the fluid-side heat transfer coefficient is computed based on the local flow-field conditions (e.g., turbulence level, temperature, and velocity profiles), as described by Equation 7.3-54 and this equation in the separate Theory Guide. " Which is not what I am interested in! I will appreciate your help... I'm stucked in this... |
