Hi, I have some questions for You about Solar Load Model in ANSYS FLUENT. I Modeling double glazed window with argon gas filling between the panes. Iit has to be heated by the sun's rays through the use of Solar Ray Tracing options. Calculations are transients- 10 hours of the hottest day of the year (form climate data). I turn on the energy, viscous and Solar ray tracing for a given longitude and latitude, date and time from which I wants to start calculations. I give the date and time from which he wants to start calculations. The boundary conditions on the outer pane - outside temperature depending on the temperature (the temperature, 10 hours from 8 am to 18 in the afternoon), it extends the saved text file and loads to Fluent. The model consists of three rectangles representing the window (no ambient air). I turn the solar ray tracing by giving orientation XYZ (north and east). I initialise the calculations and my score is no different as if the mode Solar ray tracing was turned off. The boundary conditions of radiation - solar ray tracing is turn on only in the outer pane. Is it possible that something skipping? results still must be different when the solar ray tracing is turned off and when it is turned on. In Annex I added a photo of my model. We ask you to any hint of why it can not work, and in advance thank you very much.
P.S Sorry for my English! |

Which model did you use
Try DO for solar And transient > implicit > implicit body force> k epsilon RNG Sent from my SM-G900I using CFD Online Forum mobile app |
