A question about remeshing in fluent.
I am trying to do the dynamic mesh simulation. I have set the minimum length scale 0.0006(m) and maximum maximum length scale 0.0016(m) in the dynamic mesh setting (triangular meshing is used). Fluent did some remesh when I check it with 'preview mesh moving'. However, the results are very weird. After several time steps, the mesh scale is far beyond the setting range. It shows the the min scale is 0.00166 and max as 0.068. I am quite confused about the results. Help me please!! |

Problem was solved by adding a zone of rigidly moving layer around the moving object.
