I have attached a model concerning phase change material. The melting temperature is 46C and the solidification temperature is 43C. I have assigned a wall to both sides, where one side is constant at 20C and the other will range from 50-120C and therefore see how long it takes to completely melt the domain. However, I am receiving results indicating that only 27% has melted with 50C up to 65.4% at 120C. This can't be right as it is well past the melting temperature.
Could someone take a look at the model and give some pointers to resolve this issue and receive near complete melting? I think the boundary conditions maybe set up incorrectly... https://www.dropbox.com/s/2kv8dscgwc...SION.wbpz?dl=0 |
